Operations / Customer Service - Freight Forwarding

Exciting opportunity to work with a Freight Forwarder located in Sydney Olympic Park. The opening is for a Customer Service/Operations person to join the team and manage the execution of customer orders.
The ideal applicant will have some exposure to Freight Forwarding or Shipping in operations or customer service.
Duties and responsibilities include:

• Receive purchase order and pre-alerts
• Maintain database and system integrity
• Order tracking, monitoring shipment status and updating clients
• Coordinating deliveries
• Liaising with overseas offices, suppliers and industry bodies

Attributes and skills required for the role:

• Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
• Efficient with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
• Strong administration and PC skills
• Experience in Freight Forwarding or Shipping
