The Company & the Role:
Car One Automotive is a reputable and well-established Car Dealership and Service Centre company.
We are seeking ANY LEVEL OF EXPERIENCE Admin/Receptionist for our Service Centre in Woolloongabba, whether you are an experienced office worker or someone with no experience but you are motivated and excited to become one. The ideal candidate will be hard-working, able to perform well under pressure and taking great pride in their work. The role will start of on a temporary basis with the aim to go permanent after a probation period.
Major Responsibilities:
- Handle a very high rate of incoming phone calls, bookings, emails and greet and liaise with all clients coming in on a daily basis.
- General office duties; photocopying, scanning, labelling, filing, etc.
- Assist workshop manager with quotation, invoicing, jobs handling, parts ordering etc. as required.
- Process invoices efficiently and accurately, ensuring all financial data is correctly recorded.
- Provide exceptional customer service to all clients, internal teams and stakeholders.
- Support the operations team with compliance-related administrative tasks.
- Perform general administrative tasks, including filing, answering emails, and maintaining accurate records.
About you:
- Polite and efficient telephone manner with strong ability to remain calm, polite and professional under pressure.
- Must be able to multi-task in addition to taking a high number of telephone calls.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, English native speaker is a must.
- Competent with basic computer operations.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reporting paired with fast pace and able to use initiative.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to perform with minimal supervision, as well as take directions from the Workshop Manager.
- Experience in administrative roles highly regarded, but not essential if you are motivated, organised and are a fast learner.
- Knowledge and experience or genuine interest in cars and automotive industry is a strong advantage.
Depending on the level of experience we will be offering a base salary of $50-75k per annum to begin with, which will be reviewed upon completion of the probationary period, and of course an opportunity to grow with the company!
