We are a well-established and financially secure builder/developer, and we are looking for an experienced Contract Administrator to join our construction team. In this role you will be working on some premium, award-winning projects on the Gold Coast, working closely with the project team to undertake all contract administration throughout the project lifecycle. The role will include the following responsibilities:

  • Preparation of progress claims and variation claims
  • Establishing and management of construction budgets including monthly financial reports
  • Handling for the entire tender process
  • Contract administration of all consultants, trade contractors and suppliers including preparation of trade contracts, assessment of progress claims, variations etc
  • Work with consultants on the resolution of design matters
  • Undertake key completion tasks including certification, authority approvals, defect management final accounts and O&M Manuals/Handover packs
  • Providing support to Project Managers as required
  • Document control

Ideally, the successful applicant will have the following attributes:

  • Minimum of 4+ years' contract administration experience within residential apartment building projects or similar construction environments
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build excellent working relationships with internal stakeholders and external contractors. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Passionate about the Construction Industry
  • Strong work ethic, proactive and ability to take ownership.
  • Strong experience in Microsoft Office packages i.e. Word and Excel
  • Prior use of Procore and Jobpac desirable but not essential
  • Qualifications in contract administration, quantity surveying, construction management or engineering are desirable but not essential.
