About Us:
My Disability Care is a registered NDIS provider with offices in Brisbane and Hervey Bay. We are committed to providing high-quality support to individuals living with disabilities, and we're currently seeking a Casual Disability Support Worker to join our team in the Hervey Bay region .
About the Role:
- Job Type: Casual
- Salary : $33.28 per hour (plus applicable penalty rates)
- Shift Timing: Rotating Roster
- Location: In-person
Key Responsibilities:
- Support individuals with disabilities, including those with complex needs.
- Provide in-home and community access support for both children and adults.
- Assist with personal care as required.
- Follow a rotating roster and adapt to the needs of the clients.
Essential Qualifications:
- Certificate III/IV in Disability or Individual Support (or a related field).
- First Aid and CPR certifications (preferred but not mandatory).
- Ability to work outside standard school/business hours.
- Current driver’s license (mandatory).
- Own transport
Mandatory Requirements:
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
- NDIS Orientation Module.
- 100 points of ID verification
- National Criminal History Check (in some cases)
