We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Associate to join our Family Law team.
WHAT WE WOULD LIKE FROM YOU
- A law degree and admission to practice as a solicitor in Queensland.
- Three to five years experience in family law, with a proven track record of successful client outcomes.
- Excellent legal research, writing, and advocacy skills.
- Strong interpersonal and client service skills, with the ability to empathise and communicate effectively with clients.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on delivering high-quality work.
- Familiarity with court procedures and processes in the family law jurisdiction.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Providing expert legal advice and representation to clients on a range of family law matters, including divorce, complex property settlements and parenting matters.
- Preparing and filing court documents, including applications, affidavits, and submissions.
- Negotiating complex property settlements and parenting matters and representing clients in court proceedings.
- Conducting legal research and analysis.
- Collaborating with colleagues to ensure a seamless and efficient client experience.
- Participating in professional development activities to stay up-to-date with changes in family law.
