About the role
East Coast Coaches' is seeking an experienced Coach tour Travel Consultant/Travel Planner to join our team on a contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and booking coach tours and travel arrangements for our customers as well as hosting events to showcase the product.
What you'll be doing
- Providing exceptional customer service by understanding client travel preferences and requirements
- Researching and recommending suitable coach tour itineraries and other travel options
- Booking coach tours, accommodation, and other travel components
- Communicating with clients throughout the booking process and providing post-tour support
- Maintaining detailed records of client bookings and travel arrangements
- Collaborating with the operations team to ensure smooth execution of tours
- Identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products and services
What we're looking for
- Proven experience as a travel consultant or travel planner, preferably in the coach tour industry
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong research and problem-solving abilities to find the best travel solutions for clients
- Proficiency in using travel booking systems and software
- Knowledge of coach tour operations and the travel industry in general
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required
