About the Role
We are seeking passionate and reliable Disability Support Workers to join our growing support team. This casual position offers flexible hours for work/life balance.
Our clients are looking for support workers who not only provide exceptional care but also share similar interests and enthusiasm to ultimately achieve their NDIS goals. If you’re someone who enjoys Community Participation, Social Participation and can provide personal care this is the role for you!
Our Client’s Interests:
Community Participation (Activities that involve engagement with broader groups, events, or public spaces) such as
- Sporting events – (Attending or participating in sporting events with other enthusiasts. Events such as football, motorsports…)
- Outdoor activities - (Enjoying public spaces such as the beach, nature, fishing, hiking and water activities)
- Indoor activities - (Engaging in community activities such as cooking or art classes)
Social Participation (Activities that focus on personal social interactions, leisure, and small group engagement) such as
- Supporting our clients to explore their hobbies – (Gym, photography and group sporting activities)
- Attending the movies, music events, going to cafes, visiting family and friends and volunteering
- Taking a class or workshop to learn a new skill
We are looking for support workers who can actively engage in these activities while providing person-centered support.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experienced in caring for participants living with a diverse range of disabilities such as psychosocial, physical and intellectual.
- Mature-minded, with a good sense of humour.
- Proactive and take initiative in planning adventurous and engaging activities.
- Stable and looking for a long-term work arrangement.
Key Responsibilities:
Personalised Support & Engagement
- Assist with daily activities while fostering choice, independence, and social participation.
- Plan and facilitate activities that align with the client’s needs and preferences and can be adaptable to the changing requirements of each client
- Encourage meaningful community involvement and skill-building experiences.
Emotional & Behavioural Support
- Provide trauma-informed care and recognise emotional triggers.
- Support the client in maintaining a safe and positive environment.
- Build a trusting and supportive relationship through consistency and respect.
Safety & Compliance
- Follow all NDIS and organisational guidelines.
- Maintain detailed progress notes and incident reporting.
- Ensure a safe and inclusive environment at all times.

Requirements:
- Previous experience in caring for participants living with a diverse range of disabilities such as psychosocial, physical and intellectual.
- Understanding of NDIS guidelines and person-centered care.
- A mature, stable, and proactive approach to support work.
- Police Check
- NDIS Worker Screening Check & CPR/First Aid Certificates
- Australian Driver’s License and reliable vehicle
- Comprehensive Third-Party Insurance
- NDIS Mandatory Modules (or willing to complete)
