The Multimedia Manager is responsible for supervision, organisation and monitoring of work processes for the multimedia function for the Queensland and Northern New South Wales region of AU Funerals, ensuring the delivery of high-quality multimedia products . Duties of a Multimedia Manager include:
Coordinate remote production of video, audio, interactive and web-based content, customised to meet the needs of each client.
- Manage daily schedules and track the progress of deliverables
- Monitor multimedia workloads and allocate appropriate resources to meet customer needs
- Liaise with internal staff and external clients to gather content for multimedia production
- Source multimedia content from external resources as required
- In collaboration with the Shared Services team, coordinate the distribution of printed and digital materials both physically and electronically
- Provide advice to internal staff on audio/video content and production
- Provide technical advice and support to internal staff in relation to all digital products
- Act as the point of contact for the resolution of technical issues relating to delivery of the video tribute program
- Ensure records are created and managed according to the InvoCare records management policies and procedures
- Support Multimedia Assistants with conceptualisation of visual media content
- Working closely with the Marketing team, develop and implement templates for inclusion in mourning stationary catalogues
- Ensure appropriate quality control measures are in place and followed to ensure accuracy and high production standards
- Participate in the recruitment and selection processes for relevant vacancies in line with organisational procedures
- Facilitate effective induction processes, including probation review process and training for all direct reports in line with organisational procedures
About you:
- Compassion and empathy to deal with grieving families during highly stressful and emotional times
- Flexibility around moving deadlines
- Understand, observe and respect differing religious or personal beliefs
- The ability to work with multiple funeral arrangers and families concurrently
- Creative thinking and detail-oriented
- Excellent listening skills
- Demonstrated experience as a supervisor or similar management role
- Proficiency with Adobe products, Microsoft Office products, Apple iTunes and software, You Tube and Drop Box
- Experience producing DVDs and electronic media files (slide shows and video presentations) for playback on multiple devices
- Familiarity with commercial printing equipment
