With long-term civil projects across North Brisbane, they are seeking a skilled civil labourer with a truck licence, to join their team.
What You Will Be Doing
As a member of the drainage crew, you will be required to work 9-10 hour days, Monday to Friday, commencing at 6:30am daily. Your core duties will include;
Operating tipper trucksInstall sewer, water and drainage pipes and fittings, conduits, culverts Install and remove temporary fencing, traffic barriers, safety fencing, silt fencing and other safety / environmental controls Dig ditches or trenches, backfill excavations, and compact and level earth to grade specifications -using picks, crowbars, shovels, engine powered compaction equipment Operate demolition equipment (saws, jackhammers, drills) to cut and break up concrete or pavementConstruct concrete structures -manholes, chambers, pits, headwalls
