The focus of the Suicide Prevention Reform team at the Queensland Mental Health Commission is to drive systemic reform to better support suicide prevention activity across Queensland.This includes through the implementation of Every life: The Queensland Suicide Prevention Plan 2019-2029 (Every life) as well as broader policy and system responses to emerging issues across the state.
Reporting to the Program Manager, Suicide Prevention, the Principal Policy Advisor provides support, coordination and analysis on suicide prevention policy, research and data, including developing briefs and reports based on this analysis.
This includes working as part of a small team to influence policy development and to support the Commission's program of work.
