About the Role
An exciting opportunity exists at our Adelaide property within the dwell team for a Casual Customer Service Officer (CSO) – Front Office Receptionist with a strong focus on event planning, coordination, and social media engagement.
Reporting to the Accommodation Manager, you will work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver outstanding customer service while also designing, planning, and executing events to enhance our Residential Life program. Additionally, you will contribute to managing our social media presence by posting updates, sharing events, and promoting community activities to keep residents informed and engaged.
We offer a diverse, fun, and friendly work culture that encourages creativity and teamwork. The role requires flexibility to work across a Monday to Sunday roster, including AM/PM shifts with no late nights. We are seeking an enthusiastic, energetic, and friendly individual who enjoys building community engagement both in person and online.
Essential Criteria:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar customer service or hospitality role.
- Experience in student accommodation (highly desirable).
- Experience in well-being and community-building in a university or youth environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with diverse backgrounds.
- Excellent organizational and planning skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Positive ‘can-do’ attitude and the ability to adapt to challenges.
- Social media management experience (posting updates, promoting events, and engaging with residents online).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with StarRez property management system (highly desirable).
- Current First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- National Police Check & Working with Children’s Check (required).
On a Typical Day, You Will:
- Handle resident queries via email, phone, and chat, providing exceptional customer service.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute events to create an engaging and inclusive Residential Life Program.
- Manage social media content, including posting events, sharing updates, and promoting community activities.
- Assist in the arrival, orientation, and departure process of residents.
- Conduct property tours for prospective residents.
- Work with cleaning and maintenance teams to ensure rooms and facilities are maintained to the highest standards.
