Primary Objective:
Provide high-level expert advice and strategic leadership to develop and implement the Department’s strategic settings and enabling its reform agenda including the commissioning of robust services in the children and families, domestic, family and sexual violence, homelessness and emergency response and recovery, welfare, portfolios to meet Government objectives. The role is responsible for the fiscal oversight, quality assurance, legal and enabling functions that enable the delivery of high-quality services within a continuous improvement model. The role operates strategically across government and with the Northern Territory’s community services sector as well as nationally with the Australian Government and interstate jurisdictions to further the interests of the Territory and of Territorians.
An Executive contract of up to 4 years may be offered.
