About the role:
The Operations Supervisor will Supervise all functions of the Operations Department including Inspection, Repair and Logistics
The role will be on a Full Time basis, Monday - Friday
Duties & Responsibilities:
Inspection - Supervision of all Inspections carried out to Tasman's rental assets. Including, but not limited to;
- Ensuring rental assets are inspected in a timely manner, on return from hire
- Ensuring pre-rental inspections are carried out, within the required time-frame
- Inspection Contractor Management
- Point of contact for client arranged QC Contractors
Repair - Supervision of all Repairs required to Tasman's rental assets. Including, but not limited to;
- Ensuring any repairs required, are completed in a timely manner, and to the correct specification
- Contractor Management (Machine Shops)
- Ensuring any Post-Rental repairs required, are captured, and re-charged to the relevant client, in a timely manner
Logistics – Supervision of all Logistics required by the Operations Department. Including, but not limited to;
- Liaising with Trucking / Transport Contractors
- Ensuring Equipment requiring off-site inspection and repair, is transported to and from the 3rd Party contractor in a timely and efficient manner
- General International and Domestic Logistics, as required
Administration – Supervision of all Operations, Inspection and Repair based administrative tasks, including but not limited to;
- QC of Inspection Reports
- Filing of Inspection Report
- Collating document packages for Rental Jobs
- Filing of repair-related documentation
Desired Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering and/or Management
• Knowledge of TH Hill DS1 and API Specifications / Standards, as related to Drilling tools & Equipment
• Detailed knowledge of Oil & Gas Drilling Tools & Processes
• Flexible, and able to adapt quickly in a high paced, and stressful environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Good working knowledge of MS Office suit, including Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook and Power Point
