The Position

We are looking for a Senior Structural Engineer, responsible for the delivery of structural engineering services throughout the project lifecycle in Building Services. You will be able to work independently as well as part of multi-discipline project teams.

  • Delivering technically excellent engineering designs for, and consultancy services to our clients, and working collaboratively with multidisciplinary project teams to deliver an exciting portfolio of multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Performing a lead engineer or design management role on projects.
  • Lead, motivate, inspire and guide your team to reach their full potential and deliver outstanding results.
  • Mentoring and facilitating the technical development of more junior resources.
  • Driving business development, winning work, identifying the next opportunities and supporting the winning of these opportunities. Bid preparation and submittals as required.
  • Developing and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Driving and supporting a culture of safety and quality within the team.

Who we’re looking for:

  • Structural Engineering professional with a relevant tertiary qualification in Structural Engineering or similar.
  • Significant experience at a Senior Engineer level, ideally within a consulting engineering environment including construction phase inspections.
  • Previous responsibility across the full project lifecycle, including project delivery.
  • Chartered Engineering status is desirable, or eligible to apply for CPEng/NER.
  • Understanding of relevant Australian codes and standards and demonstrated capability in the design of large structures incorporating RC/PT concrete, steel and mass timber.
  • Proficiency in structural analysis software such as RAM Concept, RAPT, Spacegass, ETABS, SAP2000 or similar.
