About the Role:
WorkPac is currently in search of a HSEQT Advisor to join our esteemed client's team, based in Kalgoorlie. This position is based on an 8/6 FIFO roster from Perth.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coach and mentor team members in safe work practices, ensuring compliance with site safety standards and regulations.
- Conduct workplace inspections, risk assessments, and audits to identify and mitigate hazards.
- Investigate incidents using iCAM methodology and implement corrective actions.
- Facilitate safety training, inductions, and toolbox talks to promote a strong safety culture.
- Ensure compliance with WHS regulations, including WA Work Health and Safety Act 2020 and Mines Regulations 2022.
- Maintain accurate safety records, reports, and documentation for management and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with site management and employees to drive continuous improvement in health, safety, environment, quality, and training (HSEQT) initiatives.
Skills and Experience:
- Cert IV in Work Health and Safety (WHS) or Equivalent (Mandatory)
- iCAM qualification and experience in incident investigations
- First Aid and Internal Auditor certifications
- Strong understanding of WA WHS Act 2020 & WHS (Mines) Regulations 2022
- Minimum 5 years’ Experience in mining safety, compliance, and training
- Valid WA Driver’s License
