Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review tax returns, BAS, and IAS for individuals, businesses, and SMSFs.
• Conduct client meetings, offering expert advice and guidance on financial matters.
• Ensure all client-related documentation is accurately recorded and filed.
• Maintain strong knowledge of legislative changes, taxation laws, and industry best practices.
• Work collaboratively with the admin team to establish new entities and manage bank statement coding.
• Actively contribute to team meetings and professional development initiatives.
• Process invoices and client payments as required.
• Maintain client billing targets and ensure timely response to stakeholder queries.
  
  

Qualifications

About You:

• CPA qualified, with significant post-qualified accounting experience.
• Experience using MYOB/Xero and, ideally, BGL 360.
• Strong understanding of taxation, compliance, and financial reporting.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• High level of attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
• Proactive and self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
• Client-focused with exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Team-oriented and supportive of a positive office culture.
• Willingness to share knowledge and contribute to continuous improvement.
