We are looking for passionate educators to join the team and work at our out-of-school hours Child care services in the Pilbara region (Karratha or Port/South Hedland). You can also choose to work at our long-day childcare center. We have a close-knit team, who are passionate about childhood education. We are very focused on keeping children engaged and happy, while their parents get a chance to get out into the working world.
Tasks & responsibilities for Lead educators:
- To lead the team to plan a quality program,
- Oversees implementation and delivery of educational programs,
- Day-to-day running of the room fostering children's health and safety & ensuring compliance with policies and legislation,
- Promote the health and safety of all staff and children,
- Work co-operatively, ethically, and respectfully with others.
The Position of a Qualified Educator or Assistant Educator.
- The qualified educator plans with the team a quality program,
- Implement and deliver educational programs,
- Day-to-day tasks of implementation of the program to Foster Children's health and safety and Ensure compliance with policies and legislation,
- Promote the health and safety of children and colleagues,
- Work co-operatively, ethically, and respectfully with others.
Centre Manager Responsibilities
The Manager is responsible for
- The smooth running of the centre which is a conducive environment for quality play- based learning,
- Create a quality relationship with all stakeholders,
- Managing the team of staff to achieve the team goals.
Qualifications & experience ACECQA; approved qualifications
(Preferred qualification of cert III, Cert IV, Diploma Level and above).
Provide First Aid in an Education and care setting or obtain it in the 1st week of employment. Working with Children Check and Police Checks are mandatory before the commencement of work. We may sponsor (Employee) the Right to Work in Australia and Sponsor a Childcare Training Course.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35.00 – $45.00 per hour
