This role is responsible for contributing to the software development team with software design, problem solving and coding both individually and in a team. Software will primarily be web-based applications built on AWS resources. The role would include interaction with clients and colleagues supporting Veracio operations globally.
Want to know a little more about the role? Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Participating in planning and execution of software development sprints.
- Design and coding of software backend in various software languages including but not limited to C#, Typescript, JavaScript and Python.
- Programming structured user-facing application front-end in languages including JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks (particularly Vue.js).
- Integration with, and utilization of, AWS Cloud resources.
- Maintaining and creating databases (particularly PostgreSQL).
- Coding and software integration towards hardware modules.
- Client interaction for troubleshooting and to help specify client requests for incorporation into Veracio roadmap.
- Software testing and design of unit tests.
A few other things we're looking for:
- 3+ years relevant experience.
- Adept at Object Oriented Programming.
- Knowledgeable with experience in either Java, C#, or any strictly typed, Object Focused language.
- Candidate has knowledge and experience in Front-end website development in JavaScript, HTML and CSS. As well as experience with frameworks like React / Vue / Angular.
- Experience with AWS infrastructure and deploying AWS resources to support application frontend.
- A relevant tertiary education in the field of Computer Science.
