Description:
EXPERIENCED MC DRIVER required to join the AUSPAN team working out of our Canning Vale office.
About The Role
The successful candidate will operate a flat-top semi transporting structural steel beams, building material and other items as required both locally, across Western Australia and interstate. The position involves daily delivery runs, with occasional overnight stay requirements.
The Main Responsibilities Would Include:
- Performing deliveries and pick-ups in heavy bulk vehicles, including loading and unloading goods and ensuring goods are sufficiently restrained.
- Undertaking basic truck inspections and maintenance and reporting any issues to management.
- Ensuring compliance with all documentation, safety, fatigue, heavy vehicle operating guidelines and company requirements.
About You – Skills and Experience
Our ideal candidate is someone who can bring the following to the role:
- Current MC Drivers Licence
- Completion of Load Restraint Training
- Current Forklift licence
- Minimum 2 years of professional driving experience
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
- Knowledge of safe work practices and responsible manual handling experience
- Proficiency in time management and prioritisation
- Be hard working, honest and have a desire to excel and work together as a team to achieve goals

AUSPAN Group is a WA family-owned D&C building company, with a successful track record of delivering buildings for agricultural, industrial, commercial & mining clients. This position will be based in our Canning Vale office. We also have offices in Gnowangerup, Albany, Toodyay and Geraldton.
The Minimum Requirements
- Ability to pass a functional pre-employ medical including drug and alcohol screen.
- Hold a current unrestricted MC Australian Drivers Licence.
- Provide a National Police Clearance obtained within the last 6 months.
- Be health, safety and environmentally conscious
- Display a collaborative teamwork style with well-honed conflict resolution skills
- The ability to make practical decisions under pressure.
