Make an impact at Serco
As a Distribution Services Operations Manager at Fiona Stanley Hospital, you will oversee the day-to-day operational tasks of the Supplies, Linen, and Waste Services teams, ensuring high service levels and compliance with contractual requirements. You’ll lead and mentor team leaders, develop strong relationships with senior clinical staff, and ensure the seamless delivery of services to meet hospital needs.
Your leadership will directly impact the efficiency of supply chain operations, supporting hospital staff and enhancing patient care.
As a Distribution Services Operations Manager, you’ll make a positive impact by:
• Leading, mentoring, and motivating team leaders and employees in the Supplies, Linen and Waste Teams
• Managing key subcontractor relationships to ensure optimal efficiency
• Ensuring compliance with legal, safety, and contractual requirements
• Overseeing budget management and identifying opportunities for cost efficiencies
• Driving operational improvements by analysing performance data
• Developing and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships

To be successful in this role, you’ll have:
• Senior leadership experience within a complex distribution environment
• Strong understanding of distribution models and operating environments
• Experience managing budgets and KPIs in a high-pressure setting
• Well-developed problem-solving, organisational, and time management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders
• Proficiency in ERP systems (Oracle, SAP) and the Microsoft Office Suite
Desirable qualifications include experience with hospital logistics, infection prevention, and waste management.
