Join Sydney Water's Bondi Hub as a Process Controller and lead the optimisation of Water, Wastewater, Recycled Water, and Resource Recovery systems. You'll use your technical expertise to improve team performance and system efficiency in a dynamic 24/7 environment.

Responsibilities:
- Contribute to plant operations in all conditions and ensure plant operations align with Treatment and Sydney Water frameworks including health and safety requirements, quality and information management protocols, incident response and business continuity frameworks.
- Oversee product performance across Treatment and Network systems to meet end-user requirements, working closely with Network teams.
- Monitor and review production performance to identify, prevent and manage trends and exceptions likely to impact on safety, public health, customers, environment, or reputation.
- Contribute to Hub business improvement projects (including implementation) according to the planned Production Plan and business improvement project plans.
Experience and Qualifications:
- At least 5 years’ experience in a fast-paced operational team, managing and optimising production processes in Water, Wastewater, Recycled Water, and/or Resource Recovery systems.
- Strong understanding of process optimisation in Water or Wastewater facilities.
- Experience with SCADA systems, analytics software, and Microsoft Office.
- Familiar with quality management systems (ISO 9000, 14000, 4801).
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to challenge the status quo and drive change.
- Experience in data analytics, process control, and risk management.
- Technical skills for diagnosing and maintaining processes and assets.
Essential Requirements:
- Degree qualifications in engineering / science or equivalent experience
- Relevant valid driver's licence required
- Ability to work flexible days and hours to meet business needs - This includes performing incident response outside of business hours.
- You must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
