What you can expect
With plenty of insights, knowledge, and data to draw upon, you can use your analytical skills to identify strategy people opportunities, challenges and risks. Reporting to the Head of People Services, the Manager – People Advisory forms part of our People Services leadership team.
Best of all, you’ll step into a highly capable team of energetic professionals. The team successfully provides coaching, advice and support to employees and leaders on a range of people management, human resources and employee relations matters to minimise risk and improve culture and performance to achieve desired business outcomes.
This role is the primary escalation point for your team members who manage operational employee relations; enterprise agreement/policy advice and case management (misconduct, performance management, grievances and fitness for work). Working closely with the Employee Relations Manager (responsible for strategic employee relations), and collaborating widely across Water Corporation, you will leverage industry best practices to develop clear solutions whilst ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, policies and procedures.
About you
Highly influential and results driven, you will be degree qualified in a Human Resource Management or related discipline and/ or have considerable experience across all aspects of HR and ER, including partnering and coaching leaders and managing union relationships. You will be adept at advising on enterprise agreements and employment legislation and managing workplace investigations and complex case management issues.
Most importantly, you are an engaging, collaborative leader, who role models the organisational values and behaviours that contribute to a high performing, inclusive culture in a large, complex organisation. This role suits someone who enjoys navigating and supporting the team to resolve a range of diverse and complex cases in a demanding environment.
