Description:
The Project Manager role purpose is to manage the delivery of construction projects effectively, ensuring they meet all design requirements, timeframes, and budget constraints while achieving commercial, HR, safety, quality, environmental, and community targets. The role aims to meet or exceed project financial targets and maintain high standards of project management practice. The Project Manager is essential in driving the success of projects valued up to $10 million, ensuring alignment with CC Pines’ strategic and financial goals. This role focuses on managing project delivery while maintaining cost efficiency and client satisfaction. The Project Manager works under the supervision of the Senior Project Manager and directly manages a team.
kills/Experience:
Essential: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field, with a minimum of 10 years of project management experience in the construction industry.
Management of multidisciplinary projects and project teams. Contemporary practices in design and construction methodology.
Contractual, legal, commercial, industrial relations and legislative compliance management.
Advanced financial and commercial management including cost reduction and meeting budgets.
People and performance management including the performance of subcontractors.
Client relationship and stakeholder management.
Quantitative and qualitative safety, environment and quality risk assessment.
Analysis of and reporting on project performance, compliance and defects and/or non-conformance.
Desirable: Advanced qualifications such as a Diploma or master’s in project management or PMP.
Desirable: Certification in Safety, and experience in managing projects of at least $xx million.
Experience in managing a variety of contracts, e.g. Joint Ventures, Design & Construct. Pre-contracts experience in managing tenders as a Bid Manager for a range of projects
Experience in every aspect of the project lifecycle including initiating projects, planning, delegating, managing and risk mitigating.
Proficiency in inventory control and process improvement
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
