We are currently seeking applications to fill a Business Reporting and Analytics role, to join Financial Services at The Department of Treasury & Finance for a period of up to 21 months.
Remuneration: ASO6 – Salary Range ($98,478 – $104,165p.a.).
About the opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced business reporting and analytics lead responsible for analysing, interpreting, and presenting data to provide insights to support business decision making. This is a key role working with a variety of stakeholders in Shared Services SA and is responsible for designing and generating reports that identify trends and patterns that help to improve business operations, controls, and efficiency. About you
To be successful you will have:
- Demonstrated experience in the collection, presentation, and analysis of information, to communicate key findings, insights and make appropriate recommendations.
- Proven ability to identify operational issues, think laterally and apply analytical, qualitative and research skills to develop appropriate approaches for resolution.
- Demonstrated experience documenting complex business processes, engaging stakeholders and users, identifying solutions and implementing changes.
- Demonstrated experience working in a continuous improvement or business case evaluation.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or other data analytics tools.
- Proven ability to liaise and communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders, and to establish and maintain strong and productive working relationships.
- An ability to prioritise and organise work to meet deadlines, remain focussed on key objectives and manage competing activities and tasks in a demanding work environment.
- Ability to adapt and maintain effectiveness through major change in work tasks or work environment.
- An awareness of the relevant legislation, policies and procedures, including Code of Conduct, EEO and cultural inclusion.
- An understanding of and ability to work to the spirit and principles of the Premier’s Safety Commitment and the legislative requirements of the Work Health and Safety Act 2012.
