About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated Service Delivery Manager to oversee the delivery of support services for young people in care. This leadership role requires a proactive and compassionate professional who can guide a team, coordinate service delivery, and ensure young people receive the highest level of care. The ideal candidate will focus on fostering independence, life skills, and positive community engagement while aligning services with our mission and values.

Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Service Coordination
• Maintain regular communication with the CEO, Director, and Operations Manager to ensure effective case management and service delivery.
• Provide supervision, guidance, and mentorship to staff, fostering a supportive and collaborative environment.
Team & Roster Management
• Work with the CYF Coordinator and Rosters Team to ensure smooth scheduling and service provision.
• Develop and implement action plans to resolve rostering issues efficiently.
Service Delivery & Compliance
• Oversee the delivery of high-quality, person-centred support for young people in Residential and Outreach Services.
• Maintain connection and rapport with all young people in care, including responding to emergency situations.
• Monitor incident reports, ensuring documentation and follow-ups are actioned appropriately.
• Ensure services align with NDIS standards, Child Safety regulations, and organisational policies.
Stakeholder & Community Engagement
• Build and maintain strong relationships with families, caregivers, government departments, and external stakeholders.
• Attend and contribute to care team meetings to support young people’s development and well-being.
• Maintain positive connections with brokerage services to ensure consistent, high-quality care.
We are looking for an individual who has:
• A Bachelor’s degree in Community Services (or related field) is desirable, however a minimum of a Diploma is required, AND at least 2+ years’ experience in a management role.
• Experience supporting out-of-home care for children and young people under the Department of Families, Seniors, Disability Services & Child Safety.
• Blue & Yellow Card (or willingness to obtain).
• First Aid & CPR Certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Valid Driver’s License with comprehensive vehicle insurance (mileage compensated at sector rates).
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor staff, develop case plans, and support service delivery.
• Experience managing challenging and complex behaviours in a professional setting.
• Strong understanding of Child Protection Act 1999 and Statement of Standards of Care.
• Experience with Therapeutic Crisis Intervention is highly desirable.
