As we continue to lead in technological advancements, Vault is now entering a defining phase of growth with a strategic $22.5 million investment from the National Reconstruction Fund Corporation (NRFC) . This investment will scale Vault’s SECRET Cloud and introduce new services such as the AUKU S cloud capability , directly addressing Australia’s strategic national security demands. Due to our team expanding and customer engagements, we are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our Professional Services team to establish and deploy secure and efficient cloud environments that support the development, continuous improvement, and secure operation of software and systems products and services. The role is based in our Canberra office and is a unique opportunity to provide expertise across interdisciplinary approaches such as DevOps, DevSecOps, Site Reliability Engineering, and Developer Productivity Engineering.
You will be responsible for:
- Creating and documenting software solutions to meet articulated customer needs, in accordance with schedule, effort and quality requirements
- Working directly with customers as part of Vault’s product team to understand customer needs, articulate solutions and advise product managers on technical aspects of product development
- Providing advice and consultative support to Vault’s operations teams as they operate and maintain Vault’s production systems
- Creating technology and process frameworks to assist in the end of end delivery of Vault’s products
To be successful you will be able to demonstrate:
- NV1 Security Clearance
- Proficiency in IaC tools (preferably Terraform)
- Automation orchestration tools (preferably Ansible)
- Strong DevSecOps mindset with experience in tools like SonarQube and Nexus
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, ensuring alignment and effective collaboration
It is desirable for you to have:
- Experience with Software Development Lifecycle practices
- Knowledge of OpenStack and Kubernetes
