Alpha’s Autos business located at our flagship Autos site at Logan is seeking a hands-on Car Sales Manager to lead and motivate car sales staff, set and achieve car sales targets, manage inventory and pricing, provide customer service and implement marketing strategies to drive sales and maximise profitability.
Our Car Sales Manager will operate in a solutions-focused and fast paced environment with daily display of Alpha values, honesty, accountability, respect, trust and loyalty in all business undertakings.
Role responsibilities
- Leading, coaching, and motivating car sales staff with regular performance reviews and feedback to improve sales skills of the team you manage
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies and tactics to drive sales growth to optimise Dealership Profits
- Ability to achieve/ exceed internal targets for the Dealership, whilst setting and monitoring sales targets for your team
- Analyse sales data and trends to identify areas for improvement
- Provide exceptional customer service and build strong customer relationships
- Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and issues professionally and effectively
- Ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Disciplined Management of the Dealership Inventory and Stock Turn. Set competitive pricing strategies and negotiate deals
- Collaborate with Marketing Manager and General Manager to implement marketing and promotional campaigns to attract customers and generate leads
- Ensure smooth and efficient operations of the sales department
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines and service delivery standards
- Maintain high data and administration reporting standards
Essential qualifications and skill requirements
- Motor salesperson registration certificate and proof of
- Valid driver’s licence and proof of
- Proven experience in automotive sales and sales management
- Motivated, driven, and passionate nature
- Thrive in fast paced and competitive environment and is results oriented, whilst balancing with people centric
- Strong leadership, coaching and motivational skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
- Proven ability to drive sales, close deals and achieve targets
- Ability to analyse sales data, identify trends, and make data driven decisions
- Ability to resolve customer issues and challenges effectively
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Thorough knowledge of the automotive industry, products, and sales processes
