About the program/role
The Financial Counselling team at Thorne Harbour Health (THH) provides vital support to LGBTIQ+ communities experiencing financial hardship, housing insecurity, and economic inequality.
Our Financial Counselling team is growing to address the increasing demand for financial and housing support, especially for those experiencing rental and mortgage stress. As an Intake Worker, you will be the first point of contact for community members seeking financial counselling. You will provide compassionate, inclusive, and trauma-informed intake and assessment services to people navigating financial hardship, particularly those from LGBTIQ+ communities and individuals at risk of homelessness.
