About the role

We are seeking a skilled Lineworker to join our team on a 10:4 roster. In this role, you will contribute to the construction, installation, and maintenance of our client's distribution electricity networks, to ensure the integrity of the network is maintained in a safe, reliable and affordable manner.

Key Responsibilities include

  • Study and interpret technical drawings and network line diagrams
  • Construction and maintenance on the electricity distribution networks following company policies, quality systems, HSE procedures, and statutory requirements.
  • Respond to emergencies on both high and low voltage distribution assets

About You

The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise and hands-on experience with both overhead and underground line networks, along with knowledge of industry best practices.

  • Current QLD Lineworker Electrical Licence
  • Hot Stick, Glove, & Barrier qualifications (highly desirable)
  • Valid Australian Driver’s Licence (heavy vehicle preferred)
  • OHS Construction Induction card (White/Blue card)
  • There will be a requirement to travel within the state, including overnight stays, and work outdoors in various weather conditions
