The Role
The Dealer Performance Manager is responsible for expanding and enhancing the Snowy River Caravan Dealership network. This role involves developing strong relationships with the Dealer network, ensuring Dealers meet sales & performance standards and supporting Dealers with business planning, process implementation and improvement, training, and sales & marketing initiatives. The goal is to maximise Dealer sales & profitability and customer satisfaction and identify future dealership opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with the dealer network
- Work closely with dealers to achieve sales strategies & targets
- Identify & implement process improvements
- Regularly visit dealerships to assess sales, operations and provide support
- Address and resolve dealer issues and concerns promptly
- Monitor dealer performance and ensure compliance with company standards.
- Provide coaching and support to improve dealer performance
- Develop and implement dealer training programs on sales, service, and marketing
- Assist dealers in developing business plans and growth strategies
- Analyse dealership financial statements and provide guidance for improvement
- Support dealers in implementing effective marketing and promotional campaigns
- Ensure dealers adhere to brand guidelines and corporate standards
- Conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
- Conduct market research to understand industry trends and competitive landscape
- Develop strategic plans to increase market share and enhance brand presence
- Collaborate with the stakeholders to align dealer strategies with overall company goals
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive/recreational vehicle sales, dealer development, or a related field.
- Proven track record of successful dealer network development and management.
- Strong understanding of automotive/recreational vehicle market dynamics and dealership operations.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to travel frequently to visit dealerships and attend industry events.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
