Install work:

  • Travel to sites to Deliver/Install small to medium orders of Office Furniture, Shelving, Seating, Cabinetry & FFE.
  • Install work will be mostly in Perth Metro, but including Country WA, and occasionally into other States.
  • Attend inductions on building sites when necessary
  • Maintain Safe Work Area in Warehouse and on Site.
  • Maintain Clean/Tidy working conditions on Site – always remove all rubbish that we are responsible for.
  • Responsible for tools / hardware and materials on site
  • Develop and constantly improve systems related to your position, to be more excellent, effective and efficient – implementing improved systems.
  • Email/ message staff with phone messages if you are unable to help a customer or resolve their inquiry.
  • Most important: Listen to the Customers’ Requirements, pay diligent attention to Detail, and become used to reporting back in writing.
  • Other ad hoc duties as required

Experience:

  • At least 2 Years ‘experience in installing Office Furniture /Custom Joinery and/or Shelving or Carpentry work would be preferred but not required.
  • Computer/Smartphone literate
  • Experience in understanding floor plans
  • Team Player – able to communicate and relate to the whole team
  • Construction Industry White Card

Communication:

  • Attend Daily –meeting to plan day/week ahead.
  • Ability to responsibly make phone or message contact with the office during the day.
  • Hours and Remuneration
  • 38 hours per week/ Overtime if needed.
  • Normal Hours 6.00am to 3:00pm

Other requirements:

  • Pre-employment medical and instant drug and alcohol test will be required for successful candidates
  • Police clearance with 6 months validity required
