The Opportunity
We are looking for a dedicated Facilities Manager to join our team at HeliMods, located at Caloundra Aerodrome on the Sunshine Coast.
In this role, you will coordinate the operation and maintenance of our facilities, ensuring they meet required standards. You will liaise with internal teams and external contractors, manage budgets and supplier contracts, and collaborate with project teams to schedule facilities-related works.
You will also be responsible for maintaining compliance with workplace health and safety standards, preparing risk assessments, and coordinating audits. Additionally, you will deliver facilities inductions, facilitate training programs, and promote health and safety best practices.
Key responsibilities include maintaining emergency response plans, responding to incidents, investigating workplace accidents, and implementing corrective actions. You will also identify opportunities for continuous improvement in workplace safety and facility management practices.

Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities management or a related field.
- Proven track record of managing facilities in an Aerospace and/or Manufacturing environment.
- Highly organised with an ability to collaborate with a range of people.
- Familiarity with Australian workplace health and safety compliance and industry best practice.
- Experience with Quality Management Systems (e.g. AS9100/ISO9001) and in identifying and implementing process improvements.
