The Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections of production inputs, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure they meet our stringent quality standards and specifications.
This role involves utilising various testing and measurement tools, maintaining accurate records, and reporting on quality metrics to management and relevant stakeholders.
The Quality Control Technician will monitor production processes, respond to and assess production issues, and collaborate with the production team to perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
Additionally, the role includes participating in continuous improvement initiatives, providing feedback for process enhancements, and assisting in training production staff on quality control procedures and best practices.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality management, excellent analytical and communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining compliance with approved quality management systems, including AS9100.

Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in quality control or quality assurance roles, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g. ISO 9001, AS9100).
- Proficiency in using various testing and measurement tools, including advanced digital measuring equipment.
- Ability to interpret and evaluate data accurately and precisely.
- Strong problem-solving skills to perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
