About the role
As a Cyber BDM, you’ll spearhead business development and sales initiatives in SOC, Managed Detection and Response, Cyber Assurance, and Consulting. You’ll be pivotal in driving our business development efforts, collaborating closely with inside and direct sales teams to spot and seize opportunities in the Cyber Security market. Your background in Cyber Security sales, coupled with your proven track record of driving revenue growth and forging strategic partnerships, will be crucial in this role.
Position Responsibilities
- Developing and Executing Business Development Strategie s: Create and implement strategic plans to drive business development and sales in Cyber Security services, focusing on SOC, Managed Detection and Response, Cyber Assurance, and Consulting. This includes identifying key market segments, understanding customer needs, and developing targeted sales approaches.
- Collaborating with Sales Teams : Work closely with inside sales and direct sales teams to identify new business opportunities, develop sales pitches and proposals, and effectively communicate the value proposition of Cyber Security services to potential clients. Collaborate on account planning and penetration strategies.
- Building Client Relationships : Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners to drive business growth. This involves understanding client needs, addressing concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the sales process and beyond.
- Staying Informed About Cyber Security Trends : Stay up-to-date with the latest Cyber Security technologies, trends, and best practices. Use this knowledge to effectively position and sell Cyber Security services to clients, providing them with cutting-edge solutions that meet their specific Cyber Security needs.
- Customizing Solutions for Clients: Work closely with the Cyber team to develop customized Cyber Security solutions for clients based on their unique requirements and challenges. This may involve conducting assessments, recommending solutions, and overseeing the implementation of Cyber Security measures.
- Contributing to Company Growth: Play a key role in driving the overall growth and success of the company through strategic planning, collaboration with other departments, and a focus on achieving sales targets and business objectives. Participate in company-wide initiatives and contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
The following skills, knowledge and experience are highly desirable but not mandatory:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field (MBA preferred).
• Proven track record of success in Cyber Security lead development or sales roles, with a minimum of 5 years of experience specifically in selling Cyber Security solutions
• Previous experience in the Cyber Security industry, particularly in SOC, Managed Detection and Response, Cyber Assurance, or Consulting, is highly desirable.
• Experience working for an MSP (Managed Services Provider) or in a similar role is also valuable..
• Ability to collaborate effectively with sales teams and internal stakeholders.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to analyse market trends and develop actionable plans.
• Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets.
• Flexibility to travel as needed.
