A bit about the role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Youth Services Team Leader to lead and develop a high-performing team of Youth Coaches. In this role, you will support young people aged 15 to 24, helping them overcome barriers to employment and connecting their needs with those of local industries and employers. Your leadership will make a meaningful impact by addressing youth disadvantage and providing valuable services to those seeking to transition into the workforce.

As the Youth Services Team Leader, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our Transition to Work service across our Melton & Maddingley sites, ensuring our team delivers outstanding outcomes for young jobseekers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, and develop a team of Youth Coaches to ensure the successful delivery of services.
  • Provide guidance and support to young people, helping them build the skills and confidence to overcome employment barriers.
  • Work closely with employers and industry partners to understand their needs and align with the goals of young jobseekers.
  • Ensure the efficient operation and delivery of services, maintaining compliance with all relevant policies and procedures.

Key Requirements:

  • A Diploma level qualification in Mental Health, Youth Work, Community Services, or Career Development.
  • A valid driver’s license.
  • Strong administration skills, with competency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Proven leadership experience within employment and/or community service programs and services.
