We have ten sites across Victoria and deliver a variety of services.
Our Bellfield based programs offer paid supported employment opportunities for people with disability. We have a focus on gardening contracts, these programs are designed to empower individuals through meaningful work.
We are looking for compassionate, dedicated, and motivated Disability Support Worker (DSW) to join our team in Bellfield as casual employees, with a view to transitioning to permanent part time employment. Cultural fit is crucial—our team thrives on integrity, teamwork, and a strong work ethic .
What You’ll Do:
As a DSW in Work Connections, your key role will be to build our supported employees’ capability by fostering independence and creating a safe, inclusive and supportive work environment in garden maintenance. Your compassionate and dedicated approach will make a world of difference.
You’ll be part of a dynamic, professional team that values innovation, flexibility, and inclusion. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing hands-on training, coaching, and support to our supported employees
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and empowering work environment
- Transport our supported employees to work sites and assist them with daily work tasks, ensuring safety and productivity
- Organising equipment, with an allocation of supported employees to undertake garden maintenance works in residential and industrial estates on a daily basis
- Making sure that contract work is completed on time and to C2A quality standard
- Strong commitment to safe work practices
- Encourage skill development and independence
- Check and maintain equipment
- Complete, maintain and undertake administrative work and processes – such as documenting daily journal notes for each supported employee – in line with relevant legislative requirements.
- Ability to work alone and in a team environment

It is essential that you hold or are willing to obtain:
- A NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current First Aid and CPR
- A drivers’ licence (ability to drive with a trailer will be well considered)
- Working with Children Check (job dependent)
Experience in gardening and equipment maintenance will be essential to succeeding in this role. Experience leading small crews or teams will be highly regarded. No disability sector experience necessary! We welcome both experienced support workers and those new to the sector. Training will be provided.
