The Opportunity:

The Opportunity:

Come and join our team! We are seeking a Community Disability Support Worker located in South East, Melbourne.

You will be responsible for supporting a customer with daily living tasks, enabling them to live an independent and holistic life. Each day may look a little different but your work will be centered around the following:

  • Providing support in everyday daily activities around the home
  • Assistance with domestic duties
  • Providing support with hygiene and personal care
  • Assistance, support, and chaperoning activities outside the home environment
  • Assisting with medication compliance which may include the dispensation of prescription medication
  • Meal assistance which may include meal preparation

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • A minimum qualification of a Certificate III in Individual support
  • At least one year experience as a Disability Support Worker
  • Australian Drivers License (minimum P2), reliable vehicle and comprehensive car insurance
  • NDIS Clearance, First Aid (3 yrs), CPR (12 months) & National police clearance - or willingness to obtain

What shifts we are offering

  • Tuesdays 9am - 12pm (Moorabbin)
  • Tuesdays 12.30pm - 4.30pm (Ormond)
  • Fridays 11am - 3pm (Ormond)
  • Two days per week 8pm-10pm (Mulgrave)
