Description:
We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our team as a Maintenance Technician with the added responsibility of delivery driving. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining our facilities, conducting repairs, and ensuring timely and efficient deliveries.
Responsibilities:
1. Maintenance and Repairs:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical work, and carpentry.
- Identify and address facility maintenance issues promptly.
- Conduct inspections to assess the need for repairs or upgrades.
- Execute minor repairs and collaborate with external contractors for major repairs.
2. Facility Upkeep:
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the premises.
- Monitor and replenish supplies as needed.
- Respond to facility-related emergencies in a timely and efficient manner.
3. Delivery Driving:
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver goods to designated locations.
- Ensure accurate and on-time delivery of items to clients or internal departments.
- Handle loading and unloading of items, ensuring proper care during transportation.
- Keep detailed records of deliveries and report any discrepancies or issues.
4. Equipment Management:
- Regularly inspect, clean, and maintain tools and equipment.
- Report any faulty equipment and coordinate repairs or replacements.
5. Safety Compliance:
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines during maintenance and delivery activities.
- Attend safety training sessions and promote a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in general maintenance and repair tasks.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Experience in delivery driving, with a strong understanding of transportation regulations.
- Ability to operate a variety of hand and power tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects.
