Banyule Community Health is looking to recruit a highly motivated and passionate Health Promotion Officer to join the Gambler's Help team. This is a dynamic role, with significant scope for working on a wide range of preventative health promotion projects to reduce gambling harm across diverse settings in the community. You will be part of a small, energetic and inclusive team working across the North and North West of Melbourne.

Your motivation, interpersonal skills, and expertise as a Health Promotion Officer will see you excel in this role as you:

  • Develop and deliver highly engaging workshops and presentations
  • Assist with the planning and development of high-quality health promotion strategies to prevent and reduce gambling harm
  • Engage with a broad range of communities and stakeholders to build strong partnerships
  • Work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
What you will need:
  • Health Promotion, Public Health or Community Development qualifications or commensurate relevant work experience
  • Experience delivering presentations, particularly to at risk populations
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, organisational and time management skills
