About the role
Join the passionate and skilled team at Aspire Melbourne as a Housekeeping / Public Area Supervisor. In this full-time role, you will play a pivotal part in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation across our luxury accommodation in the heart of Melbourne, VIC 3000.
What you'll be doing
- Overseeing a team of housekeeping staff to ensure guest rooms, lobbies, and other public areas are thoroughly cleaned and well-presented at all times
- Monitoring inventory levels of cleaning supplies and linens, and placing orders as needed
- Providing training and guidance to the housekeeping team to continuously improve service quality
- Conducting regular inspections of guest rooms and public spaces to identify and resolve any issues
- Responding promptly to guest requests and enquiries related to housekeeping
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless hotel operations
What we're looking for
- Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a housekeeping or hotel environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team
- Proficient in the use of housekeeping equipment and cleaning products
- Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work well under pressure
