Job Description

In this full-time role, based in Corporate office in Richmond, you will be responsible for managing and operating Epworth’s Azure cloud environment and associated cloud services while contributing to the support of our traditional on-premises environment. You will be part of the Microsoft and Cloud team and report to the Technical Manager.

You will make an impact by:

  • Provide technical leadership in the support and administration of our organisation’s public cloud platform(s), IaaS, PaaS integrations, and application delivery platforms.
  • Continually improve the automation, security and system management of the cloud platform(s), the software and tools used to run and maintain them and our broader IT environment.
  • Be responsible for documentation of the organisation’s cloud environment including but not limited to cloud foundations, cloud network, disaster recovery documentation and procedural documentation.
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to other infrastructure team members.
  • Maintain and support our cloud disaster recovery environment.

To be successful in this role…

You will be someone with experience in delivering and managing cloud technologies and a willingness to bring their innovative ideas, new approaches to existing practices and a diverse mindset to the team and apply those skills to our environment.

You will have:

  • Associate level certification from Azure or greater.
  • Experience in supporting an Azure cloud environment - 3 years.
  • Experience with the configuration of cloud compute tools and methodologies.
  • Experience with related Microsoft platforms (such as Microsoft 365 administration, Power Automate, Entra ID) would also be advantageous to the role.
