About the role
Join the team at PRO-TIN Metal Roofing as a 1st-4th year Apprentice Roof Plumber. This full-time role is based in Frankston, VIC and works all over south east Melbourne and peninsula and provides hands-on training and development to become a qualified roof plumber. You will work alongside experienced professionals to learn all aspects of roof plumbing, from installation to maintenance.
What you'll be doing
- Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of metal roofing systems
- Learn how to properly measure, cut, and fit roofing materials
- Gain experience in the safe use of power tools and equipment
- Develop an understanding of relevant building codes and regulations
- Support senior plumbers with a variety of roof plumbing tasks
- Participate in on-the-job training and attend relevant courses
- running your own jobs with an apprentice (4th years & up )
- installation of metal cladding systems
What we're looking for
- own licence is a must
- own vehicle a must or able to get to Frankston by 6am
- punctuality
- own tools is a must for 2nd -4th year
- Demonstrated interest and passion for the trades industry
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Physical fitness to perform the duties of the role
