What will you do?

We have an exciting opportunity for a Quality and Policy Advisor to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role is pivotal in preparing and implementing policy and process changes to align with the new Aged Care Act and strengthened Quality Standards. Working closely with internal teams in New Zealand and Melbourne, and Ryman villages across Victoria, you will ensure smooth implementation of policy and process amendments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead meaningful change by reviewing and enhancing policies and processes to meet critical compliance standards.
  • Collaborate and connect with leaders and stakeholders to create practical, easy-to-implement resources that make a real impact.
  • Streamline and enhance document control systems, ensuring policies are accessible, professional, and written in clear, plain language.
  • Drive project success by maintaining clear plans, progress updates, and dynamic dashboards that keep everyone on track.

Who are you?

To be successful in this role, you will possess impeccable written communication skills, attention to detail when assessing and interpreting large volumes of policies and technical documents and adopting a proactive approach to policy implementation and compliance.

  • You can meticulously review policies to decide changes, identify gaps, implement effective solutions and ensure consistent accuracy and compliance.
  • You will be confident in advising and supporting teams across various locations, creating process documents and delivering training sessions to ensure smooth policy adoption across a range of stakeholders.
  • Pragmatic and organised, you will be systematic in efficiently managing policy rollouts and delivering compliance initiatives with confidence in a set timeframe.
  • You believe in the value of strong, collaborative teams and can work effectively with internal teams, village leadership, and support staff to foster a culture of compliance and continuous improvement.
  • You value communication that is clear, effective, and lacks ambiguity
  • Existing knowledge of the Aged Care industry, including regulatory requirements and best practices for policy development would be a great advantage.
  • Availability for an immediate start would be an advantage, but is not essential.
