We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Credit Manager to join our dedicated Finance team in Clayton.
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Reporting to the Financial Controller your role will be to manage the William Adams credit team and effectively assess and approve credit in-line with credit policy and procedures.
What a typical day in this role will look like:
  • Performing daily credit collections as per company credit policies and procedures
  • End to end management of the credit team, managing deadlines and leading a team
  • Pursue customers for collection of overdue balances, up to legal/solicitor letter stage
  • Review and make recommendations for credit limits with customers
  • Assist senior management when required
ABOUT YOU
What key skills, experience & attributes we are looking for:
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully leading and managing a credit team
  • High level relationship building skills with the ability to influence others
  • Willingness and desire to improve current processes and systems (can do attitude)
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks to changing workloads
  • Intermediate/Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with ability to analyse data
  • Accounting Qualifications and/or AICM membership
