About the Company
Our client is a leading manufacturer of RF Antennas, Coaxial and custom cable assemblies, Fibre Optic cables, wiring harnesses, and medical wiring. Located in Bayswater, they are renowned for their high-quality products and strong presence in their industry. They are currently seeking a reliable and skilled store person to join their dynamic team for ongoing work.
The Role
This ongoing opportunity offers a hands-on role where you’ll play a key part in the production and dispatch process. You will be responsible for picking, packaging, and dispatching components, ensuring smooth operations throughout the manufacturing and logistics process.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist production with assembly of RF Antennas, coaxial cables, and other wiring assemblies.
- Operate counterbalance forklift to transport parts and materials.
- Pick parts for production and package antennas once completed.
- Prepare and organise orders for dispatch.
- Load containers and trucks for delivery.
- Label products accurately and ensure stock is correctly allocated.
- Conduct stocktakes and ensure sufficient stock of parts for production.
- Support with soft soldering tasks as required.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience operating counterbalance forklifts.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Soft soldering experience is an advantage.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Reliability and consistency is important at this site
- Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks such as lifting and moving products.
Working Hours
- Monday to Thursday: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- Friday: 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
