The Role
Due to an internal secondment, we have an exciting opportunity to join our Brand and Marketing team as a Brand and Content Strategy Manager. This fixed-term contract position is available in our Melbourne or North Sydney office until January 2026.
As a brand evangelist, you understand the value and power of a strong brand story and are passionate about delivering this for MLC Life Insurance as we transition to our new brand, Acenda.
You will identify key positive attributes inherent in our brand and bring them to life in our new brand, ensuring our important stories are told and enhance our overall brand value and perception with partners, customers, and employees.
You are passionate about bringing to life our value proposition through proof points and storytelling. This role will be accountable for developing key brand assets to drive positive brand perceptions, translating business strategy and insights into compelling marketing communication and tactics that contribute to the growth and retention of our customers.
In this exciting year of transitioning from the MLC brand to Acenda, you will help roll out the new brand, overseeing the studio as they create new brand assets and assisting the brand project to deliver the brand through BAU channels and activities
About You
- Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Business or a related discipline
- 8+ years in a communications/brand strategy role with demonstrated achievements in strategic communications planning and delivery
- Previous experience in a people leadership role.
- Superior writing, storytelling and content development skills including working with research and behavioural insights to develop and fine tune messaging and communication tools
- Demonstrated experience in brand management and brand engagement strategies
- Demonstrated experience presenting, communicating, and facilitating insight
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
