The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to work on a $30 million landscape civil infrastructure project in Brighton-Le-Sands and surrounding areas, with a project duration of three years. As a Project Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting project delivery, ensuring efficiency, safety, and quality while working alongside experienced Site Managers and Project Managers.

Your every day
- Assist Site Managers and Project Managers in managing and coordinating staff and subcontractors.
- Accurately quantify and order materials to ensure smooth project progression and meet or exceed milestones.
- Review and interpret contract documents, including specifications, drawings, and technical plans.
- Prepare and submit key project documentation, such as schedules / programs (micro and macro), quality assurance records, RFIs, ITPs, and OMMs.
- Maintain document control and compliance records to ensure streamlined project execution.
- Work closely with site supervisors to enforce safety protocols and foster a secure work environment.
- Assist in developing construction methodologies and preparing safety documentation.
- Oversee the allocation and delivery of materials and equipment to optimise efficiency.
- Track and monitor project costs to support budget management and financial oversight.
- Collaborate with team members on tender submissions, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately and on time.
- Provide project administration support, including obtaining supplier quotes and managing procurement processes.
- Ensure all incidents, accidents, and injuries are reported promptly to senior management.
- Be available to respond to emergencies both during and outside standard working hours.
- Identify potential hazards, assess risks, and implement control measures to mitigate safety concerns.
- Maintain a professional and respectful rapport with clients, superintendents, and all project stakeholders.

Who are you?
- A qualified professional with a degree or diploma in civil construction, landscape construction, or a related field.
- Proven experience in civil works, landscape construction, or infrastructure projects.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and contract documentation.
- Knowledgeable in safety standards, risk assessments, and compliance practices.
- A holder of a valid driver’s license and White Card
- Highly organised with strong time-management skills, able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- A collaborative team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset, able to think critically and proactively address challenges.
