Talent International is working in partnership with a high-profile NSW government organisation to assist in sourcing a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer on contract based in Parramatta
The successful Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will provide technical support and advice on Cloud and related technologies to users across multiple locations and platforms, ensuring changes to the environment including complex deployments are managed and have minimal risk
Key Duties
- Configure and manage current Cloud environments (90% Azure/10% AWS) (Development, Testing, Production) through infrastructure as code (IaC) practices.
- Implement robust version control practices using Git (GitHub) and conduct thorough code reviews of pull requests.
- Design and develop CI/CD pipelines for MuleSoft deployments using GitHub workflow and YAML scripting.
- Monitor pipeline performance, identify bottlenecks, and continuously optimize deployment efficiency.
- Troubleshoot issues and maintain a high level of system availability
In order to be considered, we are seeking skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineers who can demonstrate the following
- 2+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or related role.
- Highly developed experience in Microsoft Azure as well as Microsoft Azure IaaS Monitoring and Management
- In-depth knowledge of Azure DevOps services (GitHub Actions, GitHub Enterprise).
- Strong knowledge and practical experience in cloud networking
- Expertise in CI/CD principles and automation scripting (YAML, Bash).
- Strong understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC) concepts (ARM templates, Azure Powershell, Azure CLI, AWS CLI).
- Experience with Git version control and pull request workflows
