EMBARK NOW on a deeply rewarding journey as a Support Worker in our Individualised Programs team and experience the satisfaction by supporting your clients to overcome challenges, achieve their goals, and thrive in a supportive environment.
Primarily, these positions include community-based one-on-one support where you’ll have the opportunity to directly engage with clients and encourage independence by taking them out into the community.
These positions are designed to service clients across the Greater Newcastle and Hunter Region, between the Stockton, Wallsend, and Lake Macquarie areas!
Note: whilst you will have a primary location during your onboarding (Croudace Bay), these roles will require travel to any and/or all above-listed locations.
Starting as a casual position, CPA encourages progression and there is a clear pathway to permanent part-time work.
Your Duties Will Include
Delivering personalised support by assisting clients at mealtimes, personal care, administrating medication, manual handling.Supporting clients to make their own choices and build skills to be more independent.Supporting clients to engage and participate in the community.Building positive relationships with our clients.Transporting clients in your own car.
Requirements
Professional Behaviour Support experience or lived experience preferred, however your can-do attitude is key!Someone who embodies CPA values, is client-focused in their approach to care, and driven by the opportunity to make an impact in the lives of people with disabilities.Availability on Mondays, Fridays, and weekends.Available to work shits between the hours of 7am and 9pmA current NSW Driver's Licence (P2 minimum).Comfortable travelling to all locations listed above.
