About WRDT

The West Region Delivery Team (WRDT) consortium comprises of Abergeldie Complex Infrastructure and Fulton Hogan for construction, Programmed for maintenance and facility management, and Stantec and Atlas for design and engineering.

WRDT operates under a collaborative contracting framework – Partnering for Success (P4S) – and is engaged in delivering design, construction, maintenance, and facility management services for Sydney Water’s 10-year infrastructure program across wastewater, water, and recycled water systems.

About the project

The Nepean Water Filtration Plant (WFP) Upgrade is a significant infrastructure project aimed at increasing the plant’s capacity to 33 megaliters per day - equivalent to filling 13 Olympic-sized swimming pools daily. This upgrade will enhance the water supply for over 50,000 people, ensuring a reliable and sustainable future for the region.

  • Review drawings, specifications, and technical documentation to ensure accuracy and alignment with project requirements.
  • Ensure all mechanical works adhere to safety, quality, and environmental standards.

What You’ll Bring

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Experience working on water treatment plants, or other water infrastructure projects.
  • Knowledge of construction methodologies, risk management, and project delivery frameworks.
